Real Estate is a long-term investment. The Kimco Redevelopment Group is focused exclusively on creating value for our shareholders, partners and retail clients with an emphasis on first ring suburban assets. The demand for growth has an obvious solution in the redevelopment of open-air shopping centers as large parking fields, aging buildings and low site density provide opportunity to expand and adapt.

The constant need for new housing, offices, medical space and retail product has left communities with the difficult task of needing added regional density on limited or previously developed land. As we see it, redevelopment is simply a creative process of studying and formulating a strategy for the highest and best use of a property.
